    In 1996 the system of departments was changed to the department system, the foundations of social sciences and spirituality, and the departments of pedagogy and psychology were established.

To the Institute of Professional Development of Pedagogical Staff of Syrdarya Region since 2001 from Sirdarya region, it was given the status of the institute of retraining and professional development of pedagogues and was transferred to the full department system.
